Moreover, the students had a chance to see the loophole that is regularly used for training purposes by the customs officers. They were also shown the skills of the guard dog which completed all of the tasks and orders impressing the students. Apart from the theoretical part of the training, the students were also exposed to the physical exertion which is the essence of the armed forces. The soldiers had to participate in exhausting exercises or route marches of 20 km long thanks to which they could overcome their weaknesses. The participants have also undertaken first aid training which mainly concentrated on the army evacuations. The soldiers had to carry the victims to prepare themselves for real scenarios during which they are obliged to save others’ lives.
The training took place from 21st to 24th of April in Border Guard in Terespol.
The RAE Academic Legion is a student’s community conducting specialized trainings that provide students with practical experience which would enable them to find employment in uniformed services.
Thanks to the trainings in military units of Poland armed forces, the students – future soldiers learn about the reality of armed forces, the use of equipment, the defensive system. The trainings embrace tactical rescuing, communication, archery, tactical activities in the action field and urbanized area, climbing, and ways of fights.
The activity of the Academic Legion also embraces the cooperation with the Police Forces, Municipal Guards, Road Transport Policy. Thanks to the trainings organized by these institutions , the students have a chance to gain valuable knowledge on the security of the country.
