THE AMBASSADOR OF FRANCE AT RAE

His Excellency, Pierre Buhler, the Ambassador of France was hosting at Radom Academy of Economics on 26th of April, 2013. The Ambassador gave a lecture on the following topic “Poland and France in the Europe of 21st century”. The discussed aspects embraced the political, economical, and educational sector as well as increasing the security of Europe.

The Ambassador of France underlined the fact that Poland is a strong country and together with France help and support can improve its position among other European countries. What makes two countries maintain strong relations is the same vision of the European budget, which according to both countries should be invested in agriculture and security system modernization. France is also willing to help Poland improve its military position not just in the European context but also in a worldwide sense.

The other discussed topics refer to cultural, academic, and educational aspects. The Ambassador, Pierre Buhler drew great attention to the French Institute in Poland, thanks to which a few thousand of Polish people take up French courses every year. What is more, Poland and France take an active part in the students’ exchange programmes. As a matter of  fact, many Polish people willingly study in France. A rich scholarship programme offered by French universities contributes to that situation.

His Excellency Pierre Buhler was the 34th guest as part of the international lecturers organized by Radom Academy of Economics. ‘International lectures’ are the perfect occasion to share the views and opinions with the distinguished diplomats of different countries.

The next international lecture that takes place at Radom Academy of Economics is on 18th of May with the Ambassador of the Republic of China.
