THINK GLOBAL, ACT LOCAL
RAE was hosting the representatives of the Kopernik High School that are in charge of the project called ‘Think Global, Act Local.’

The project was supported by the exhibition of artwork designed by the students of the Mazowieckie province.

The above mentioned project has a pro-health purpose and is organized to increase the awareness of cancer. Thanks to that, both students and other people have an opportunity to learn about the cancer or gain some information on the disease during the special meetings organized for students. People are also encouraged to do regular check-ups that are believed to save or prolong our lives.

As part of campaign children and teenagers aged between 4 to 25 years old design moving artworks that express people’s perception of cancer. The project is particularly aimed at Lower Secondary School students in order to educate the young generation about the prophylaxis of cancer and encourage them to promote the awareness of cancer through a variety of exhibitions, campaigns, or lectures. The project is believed to change the alarming statistics of people who died from cancer. The project is realized throughout the year and each of monthly exhibition is devoted to a different type of cancer.

Radom Academy of Economics supports the campaign and invites everyone to participate in the exhibitions that take place at our Academy.
