GAUDEAMUS IGITUR 2012/2013.
The ceremony took place on 6 October 2012 in the main auditorium of Radom Academy of Economics - Auditorium Primum. The inauguration was led by the Rector of the University Assoc. Prof. Elżbieta Kielska together with the High Senate of the Radom Academy of Economics.
The Rector of Radom Academy of Economics presented a summary of the last academic year, which was filled with a lot of scientific work, cultural and many social initiatives. The Chancellor of the university prof. Gerard Maj, presented the achievements of our students, rewarding congratulation letters to the winners of the Primus Inter Pares contest, the Minister's scholarship holders and a group of students with the highest average ratings. The Chancellor also welcomed the foreign ERASMUS students who start the new academic term at Radom Academy of Economics.
The official matriculation of the first year students was the highlight of the ceremony. The ceremony of the inauguration of the new academic year was attended by the invited students as well as many distinguished guests, such as the rectors of other universities, representatives of state authority, government and public institutions.
The ceremony ended with joyful traditional song "Gaudeamus Igitur!" which sealed the commencement of the new academic year.
