MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND HIGHER EDUCATION AWARDS PRESTIGIOUS SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE STUDENTS OF RADOM ACADEMY OF ECONOMICS

Minister of Science and Higher Education - prof. Barbara Kudrycka -awarded scholarships for the academic year 2009/2010 to outstanding students for the scientific and sports achievements. As many as 13 students from Radom were recognized. All of them are students of Radom Academy of Economics.

The minister awarded 986 scholarships for outstanding scientific achievements to students from 80 schools of higher education and 151 scholarships for sports achievements to students from 60 schools of higher education. Most of the students awarded for the scientific achievements study at the Warsaw University. The majority of the students awarded for sports achievements study at the University School of Physical Education in Wrocław and among private schools of higher education the greatest number of the awarded students study at Radom Academy of Economics.

Minister's scholarships are awarded every year to students who do research, are active members of science circles and scientific organizations, publish their papers and whose grade averages are greater than or equal to 4,5. Language certificates, additional internships, trainings, participation in student exchange programmes are also taken into account.

Students of Radom Academy of Economics were awarded with the Minister's scholarships for the fifth time. In 2005 four of them were awarded, in 2006 seven, in 2007 nine, in 2008 eight and in 2009 thirteen.
