A demonstrative lesson of the Chinese language, introduction to the Chinese calligraphy, instructions of brewing the traditional Chinese tea, presentation of the Chinese horoscope and artistic cards cutting were some of many attractions prepared by the Confucius Institute during the Chinese Culture Day taking place at Radom Academy of Economics on the 16th December 2014.
The main part of the prepared programme was the demonstrative lesson of the Chinese language during which the students of RAE, students of secondary schools in Radom and all other invited guests had a rare opportunity for learning the Chinese language checking out their linguistic prerequisites. Even though the Chinese language comes across as one of the most difficult languages in the world, the invited guests did their best and they were enthusiastically repeating the taught phrases picking up small bits.
The most enjoyable part, however, turned out to be the interactive activities such as brewing the traditional Chinese tea, cutting out the letters of the Chinese alphabet or learning about the traditional Chinese horoscope.
All of the above elements of the programme would not be so successful without the involvement of the workers of the Confucius Institute who visited our academy in a pretty large group such as The Institute Director Mr Qikun Li, Vice-Directors Mr Simone Yang, Mr Piotr Wang, Mrs Magdalena Urbaś and the Chinese teachers: Xia Xiaojing, Mingyu Wang, Rui Su, Xue Fei Huang and Yu Lin.
We hope that this is the beginning of the fruitful cooperation in the near future.
Many thanks to all those who participated in the above mentioned event.
