In Wednesday afternoon, we had a pleasure to host a famous Polish actress Mrs. Anna Mucha that conducted a lecture on acting as part of All-Poland Summer Film Festival.
The topic of this year’s lecture were the scenes of the profession of an actor. During making a film a lot of different aspects count, for example, locations, the role of used objects. Making a film also requires long preparations of actors and the whole team that make a film.
Work on the shot quite often lasts more than 12 hours. It starts sometimes at 4.30 am in the morning. Work of an actor is extremely hard as quite often certain roles that they play require acquiring of new skills such as dancing, singing or language skills. The actor spends a lot of time on individual work of the role to build a character and express desired content and emotions.
Work of an actor is largely teamwork and requires cooperation and mutual understanding between many people that are involved in making a film. Actors quite often need to be obedient, however possessing an ability to convince others to their own rights is a must, too.
The lecture conducted by Mrs. Anna Mucha took place on the 9th of July and was participated m mainly by those showing interest in acting.
