Public safety is our common interest – this was the topic of Monday’s debate that was held at Radom Academy of Economics at 17.00 pm at Traugutta street 61a.
The debate was a perfect occasion for Radom residents as well the Radom region to ask the questions concerning public safety and get the information on that matter from the most competent people such as the heads of Mazovia Police Department and self-government authorities. The meeting was attended by the Voivodeship Head Mr. Jacek Kozłowski, Voivodeship Police Officer Mr. Cezary Popławski, Municipal Police Officer Of Radom Mr. Karol Szwalbe as well as the representative of self-government authorities.
The meeting was supervised by the Municipal Police Officer of Radom Mr. Karol Szwalbe who presented multiple views on public safety. For instance, he discussed the petitions of debates that were held in 2012 and their way or realization. He also presented the Police Department of Radom, analyzed the types of common crimes and offences, delved into traffic safety, mentioned the actions undertaken to stop violence of families and discussed the role and functioning of regional police officers.
The debate was also accompanied by the multiple questions from the audience who participated in the following event. The invited guests as well as Radom residents were directing the questions concerning safety in Radom and the region. The police officers answered the questions in a very detailed way.
Social debates are organized by Radom Academy of Economics not just for its students but also residents of Radom. This is a perfect occasion to address the present problems to the right people who thanks to direct meetings can change a perspective of ordinary people.
