Making the studies more practical, preparing the students to find employment in the future, an active form of didactic classes were the main issues discussed during the next Programme Board of Employers at Radom Academy of Economics.
During the next gathering of Programme Board of Employers, the founders of the Academy and the representatives of the didactic staff have taken the employers’ views concerning some improvements of the classes into consideration. The owners and managers of some leading institutions and companies that participated in the following meeting suggested certain steps that can be followed in order to improve the employability factor of Radom Academy of Economics graduates. They enumerated flexibility, practicality and usefulness of the provided classes that could increase the chances of finding a job by young graduates.
What is more, some changes need to be introduced to the curriculum of some subjects and courses that are offered to students. The classes should have a more practical character so that students could develop transferable skills and use the acquired knowledge in real authentic situations. That could increase their chances to obtain a desirable job once they have completed their studies.
The meeting was held on 23rd of May, 2013 at Radom Academy of Economics. The next such an event will take place at the beginning of the academic year. Programme Board of Employers is a perfect occasion to exchange views between the academic staff and employers thanks to which the graduates of Radom institutions are given chances to find employment in the future.
